The quality criteria for web services have been drawn up in a quality criteria development project set up by the Ministry of Finance.
The purpose of the quality criteria is to:
- act as a tool for assessing and developing public web services
- improve the quality of public web services for both users and producers
- increase the benefits from public web services.
The quality criteria consist of an introduction, a description of the criteria and the ways of using the criteria, and the criteria themselves. The criteria are grouped under five assessment areas: use, content, management, production and benefits. Each criterion comprises 4 ? 14 concrete characteristics with relevant explanations. Also, key terms have been attached to each criterion. A short version of the criteria has been drawn up.
The quality criteria for web services are available at the address
