Summary

The follow-up group for the Kainuu region self-government trial set up an auxiliary working group on 26 June 2009 to examine and compare the functions in regional administration and how to organize senior decision-making and alternative solutions for decision-making.
The purpose of the auxiliary working group was to produce for the follow-up working group and for purposes of general decision-making information and evaluations on various alternatives on how to organize senior decision-making in regional administration and various functions in regional administration.
The auxiliary working group of the follow-up group for the Kainuu region self-government trial was chaired by Head of Development Teemu Eriksson from the Ministry of Finance.
